We would like to personally thank all families for their support of the CMS Band and GCISD Band Boosters. We can tell it's going to be a fantastic year!
The goal of the GCISD Band Booster Club is to promote music education for students in the middle and high schools in the district. The money we raise with membership, concessions and other events goes towards lesson scholarships, clinicians, enrichment funds, college scholarships and support for our Band Directors. Your support is greatly appreciated as we strive to reach our goal of 100% participation!
Did you know that all that time you spend…working with concessions, fundraising, being a chaperone, or ANYTHING involving helping our CMS Band counts for PTA hours? GCISD requires all Volunteers complete a background check and local training.
• GCISD Background Check* (required yearly)
• CMS Training (good for 3 years)
